6/30/2023 0 Comments Markly street motors![]() ![]() So I called back the next day and asked for Noah and I was i told he went on vacation without letting me know, so I asked for the other person in charge of my car and his name was justin. Finally I had a guy named Noah say he would speak to his manager about renting a car and that he would call me back tomorrow. I kept telling them my life doesn't stop I need a car to take my son to school and to get to work and that I'm a single mother who drives betwee n 3 different cities. They couldn't give me loaner because there was none there and nobody would help me with getting a car. First they told me it would take a week to get it fixed, then they told me it would take till january 8th. I have had nothing but problems from day one and my car was on the shop close to a month. Honestly I wouldn't even give these guys one star. I definitely felt wronged and would recommend anyone to avoid this place if they can. Anyways, I have never ever filed hail damage before, and I don't know anyone who have, so no experience whatsoever. it doesn't make sense for the insurance company to pay for the shop's mistake, is it? Also, nobody has apologized at all for the inconvenience it brought me. When I asked, i was told that the glass was broken by mistake while they were trying to fix something else. One of the items, though now I am thinking back, is very questionable, it was regarding a rear glass, which I know for a fact was not broken due to the hail damage, but was clearly listed as being replaced. It took the manager a while to figure out some obvious row items on the paper. Upon reviewing the papers, I asked some questions regarding some detailed items on the papers, they couldn't explain what most of the charges were. On the day of car pick-up - Car is seemingly fixed, with some dirty finger prints and scratches on the interior. Towards the end of the 2nd 2 more weeks - I called every day asking about the status, I was firstly told I could pick up the car on a Wednesday, and later told the car wouldn't be ready until Friday, the Friday before Memorial Day. 2 more weeks later - I called the shop asking about the status, they said they would need another 2 more weeks, because they cracked some paint while doing the painless repair, so they'd have to send the car to the paint shop. I decided to wait patiently and I simply am not sure what else I could do. after being noticed by the insurance company, I called the Collision Center, and they told me it would take, instead of a week (or rather 5 more days by that time), it would take 2 more weeks. ![]() 2 days later - the insurance company showed up and approved the extra cost. With that said, it would take a couple more days, so instead of 3 days, it might be a week. and they have to wait for the insurance company to show up and approve the expense. Day after dropping off the car - got a call from the Collision Center, saying that they quoted for $4000 more on top of the original insurance company quote. The below is what happened throughout those weeks: Day 1 - made an appointment to drop off my car in a couple days, and I was told that it would take 3 days for the car to be fixed by both the receptionist and the person in charge of the car repair. The repair took total of 5.5 weeks, and no they don't cover car rental (maybe this is normal, I just want to point it out to anyone who expect/assume they do). Try to avoid their Collision Center if you can. ![]()
